the first step towards the FIRS World Championships “Roller Games” has been made: the logo you see above will accompany us in this great new adventure and I am convinced that it will soon become, all over the world, the flag of the high-quality events of Roller Sports for both organizational standards and for the competitive level of the athletes.
We will bring together for 15 days, in one place, the top athletes of all roller sports, who will compete for the title of World Champion of their own discipline: a busy schedule of events, with musical contest and sports village, will transform our World Championships in a real “Feast of Roller Sports.”
With the creation of a logo and of a corporate image for the Roller Games, we made the layout for the event, but still a lot of work is in progress. The FIRS staff is working hard in the drafting of the Guidelines for the bidding procedure and also in the guidelines of Communication & Marketing, in order to promote the event and make the Bidding process transparent and attractive to sponsors, governments and media.
I am sure you are aware of what a huge opportunity the Roller Games represent for the future development of our sport and our world: for this reason I ask you to help in publicizing the event with all the means at your disposal.
In short time , all the promotional material prepared will be published on the official FIRS website www.rollersports.org and will be sent to you for your appropriate knowledge and spreading.

Queridos amigos,
el primer paso hacia los Roller Games ha sido realizado: el logotipo que se ve arriba nos acompañará en esta nueva gran aventura y estoy convencido de que pronto será, en todo el mundo, el baluarte de los eventos de calidad de los roller sports, tanto por los estándares de calidad que por el nivel competitivo de los atletas participantes.
Reuniremos durante 15 días, en el mismo lugar, los mejores atletas de todos los deportes sobre ruedas, compitiendo por el título de Campeón del Mundo de su propia disciplina: una apretada agenda de eventos, con concursos musicales y una villa deportiva, para transformar nuestros Campeonatos del Mundo en una verdadera “Fiesta de los Roller Sports”.
Con la creación de un logotipo y de una imagen corporativa para los Roller Games, realizamos la presentación grafica del evento, pero mucho queda aún por hacer. El personal de FIRS está trabajando arduamente en la redacción de un Manual de la Licitación y a las directrices de la Comunicación y del Marketing, con el fin de promocionar el evento y hacer que el proceso de Candidatura sea transparente y actractivo para los patrocinadores, los gobiernos y los medios de comunicación.
Pido a todos los Presidentes de las Federaciones Nacionales, y a todos ustedes, amigos, para ayudarnos en dar a conocer esta gran oportunidad para el mundo de los Roller Sports.
